It seems that each summer flies by faster than the last, doesn’t it? Although the end of summer is approaching, there is still plenty of time to pack up the family and have one last hurrah before the kids go back to school and the weather begins to cool.

What better way to end the summer on a high note than unplugging from technology and soaking in the great outdoors? All of our trails are family-friendly and help you decompress from the hustle and bustle of your daily grind. While exploring the Ride the Wilds trails or surrounding routes in the area, you and your family will be exposed to wildlife and picturesque scenery along the way. From birds flying overhead to deer grazing along the trails, you will create lasting memories for years to come.

SAFE AND FUN POLARIS ADVENTURES

Fun and safety are top of mind for us, so you can drive away from the shop knowing that you and your family will have a safe, enjoyable ride. All of our atv rentals consist of brand-new vehicles, and we equip all guests with helmets, goggles, a touch screen GPS, trail maps, spot technology and personal locator beacons in the event of an emergency. All you need to bring is an adventurous spirit and a camera or phone to take pictures along the way!

In addition to our tours with side-by-side rentals and Polaris Slingshots, there are a ton of great activities for the entire family to enjoy in the area:

  • Forest Lumina – Adventure with us all day and then check out Forest Lumina at night. This multimedia night-time experience is full of glowing magic that kids will love! Follow the pathway, reaching about one and a half miles, through 11 different illuminated zones. Each zone has their own manuscripts ranging from the Garden of wishes to Margaret’s secret. A tip from the locals: purchase your tickets before you arrive.
  • Coaticook Cremery – We all know summer is the perfect time to indulge in a sweet treat. While you are on your way to Forest Lumina or heading back to your hotel, we highly recommend stopping at Coaticook Cremery in Quebec, Canada. They have incredible flavors that will surely hit the spot.
  • Hike the Cohos Trails – For people looking for a challenging hike, the North Country is home to the Cohos Trail. This long-distance hike is roughly 170 miles long and connects the northern and southern ends of Coos County. If this sounds too intense, don’t worry! The hike to the Fourth Connecticut Lake is a scenic, half-mile long trail that runs alongside the Canadian border and leads to the source of the Connecticut River. Grab your sunscreen and a water bottle.
  • Covered Bridges – The covered bridges are a must-see while in town. The River Road Covered Bridge is pedestrian only and located just seven miles north of Pittsburg, New Hampshire. The Bacon Road Covered Bridge/Pittsburg/Clarksville Bridge spans the Connecticut River, creating a beautiful view! We also recommend checking out the Columbia Covered Bridge. This bridge is the last one that spans the Connecticut River and also connects Columbia, New Hampshire and Lemington, Vermont.
  • Waterfalls – Cool off from the heat of the summer by checking out the waterfalls. There is a plethora of waterfalls to visit including Beaver Brook Falls, Garfield Falls, Dixville Flume, Little Hellgate Falls, Balsams Water Fall, The Huntington Cascades and more! Pack a picnic and swimsuit and enjoy!
