DESTINATION RIDES

Waterfalls, Wind Turbines and the Great North Woods

Gear up for a unique trail riding experience in the beautiful Great North Woods of New Hampshire.

With direct access to Granite Reliable Wind Farm, riders can experience a colossal wind farm up close and personal. Travel along the winding trail, park your RZR and walk right underneath the myriad of towering turbines—an “other worldly” experience according to Bear Rock’s owner, Corrine Rober. After taking in the breathtaking views, hop back on your RZR to experience the gentle, rolling hills as you approach Beaver Brook Falls, an 80-foot-tall waterfall nestled in the 7.3-acre Beaver Brook Park. Heading about 11 miles east, riders can also visit the dazzling Diamond Pond and watch the abundance of fishermen and kayakers enjoying the famously crystal-clear water—a truly “picture-worthy” moment. Last but surely not least, riders can make their way to Lake Francis—a 2,000-acre reservoir on the Connecticut River filled with canoeists and boaters by day and night-fishers by evening. Take in the crisp mountain air and set your sights on the rare Canadian gray jays throughout this adventure, which is undeniably the best way to experience all the Great North Woods has to offer!

Glamping & ATVing in Northern NH

If you are looking to get a taste of New Hampshire’s wilderness with a little more “glam,” Bear Rock Adventures’ overnight experiences are where nature meets luxury! Wake up and enjoy breathtaking sunrises and nature all around you. Sip your coffee and soak up the views of trees, wildlife and peace. Come nighttime, you’ll be blown away by the highly visible Milky Way, which is especially illuminated in June and July. You’ll find time stands still as fireflies surround your site — a truly unforgettable experience. With two different tent sizes to choose from, this adventure is perfect for the honeymooning newly-weds or the family of four looking for a different type of vacation. The best part? Campers can take advantage of the Play and Stay package, which allows you to rent an ATV for the full length of your stay at a discounted rate, allowing for even more exploring and adventuring. Happy glamping and riding!

A Snowmobilers Paradise – Best Snowfall in the Northeast

Calling all nature buffs! Hop on an exclusive Polaris snowmobile and hit the area’s winter-only accessible trails for a view – and snowfall – like no other. At 3,071 acres, visitors can check out First Connecticut Lake, which is the eighth-largest lake in the state! Have time for a little extra adventuring? Ice fishing is permitted from January through March so be sure to bring your fishing gear! Continue trailblazing this path and you’ll find yourself at the other four lakes in this region—Second Connecticut Lake, Third Connecticut Lake, Fourth Connecticut Lake and Lake Francis. As you increase in elevation, you’ll experience a newfound peacefulness and views of a beautiful winter wonderland.

Play and Stay Packages
